MrBeast competition series coming to Amazon with a $5 million grand prize

YouTube star MrBeast is heading to Amazon for a new competition series.

The TV series "Beast Games" is described as "the biggest reality competition series in television history" based on his YouTube show.

One thousand contestants will compete for a $5 million cash payout, the biggest single prize in the history of television and streaming.

MrBeast, a.k.a. Jimmy Donaldson, says his goal is "to make the greatest show possible and prove that YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms."

"Beast Games" will air" on Amazon Prime. No date has been announced.
