Nearly $800 in booze stolen over two trips to the Alliston LCBO

Police on the hunt for a suspect accused of robbing liquor store twice

This isn’t the kind of repeat business they were looking for.

Nottawasaga OPP say someone stole some bottles of booze from an Alliston LCBO… twice. The first instance reported to police occurred at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29. Police say the suspect went in and took eight bottles of 12-year-old scotch, at a value of around $750. The second theft was reported on Wednesday at around 7 p.m.; police say the same suspect went into the same LCBO and this time took a bottle of vodka valued at $30.

The suspect is described as:

  • East Indian male
  • Approximately 35 years old
  • Medium build
  • Medium length brown hair with shaved sides
  • Wearing dark grey or brown long sleeve shirt and black pants
