Aslan and the White Witch return as Netflix plans to reboot “The Chronicles of Narnia.”

Reports say Barbie director Greta Gerwig has been tapped to direct two films based on the classic CS Lewis novels.

A film adaptation of the first story in the series “The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe” hit the big screen in 2005. It was followed by “Prince Caspian,” then “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.”

Netflix required the rights to the series a couple of years ago, and reports say they are ready to remake the series for the streaming service.

No other details have been announced except for Gerwig being named as Director, including casting and when filming will start.

Fingers crossed; Liam Neeson is back as the voice of Aslan.

Side note, am I the only one who remembers the 1988 BBC tv version? The White Witch gave elementary school MJ nightmares. I’m sure you can see why in the clip below,
