New Barrie Police Headquarters will be fully operational on March 14

Between March 7 and 14, some services will be offered at new headquarters, others at Sperling Drive location

Moving is a stressful time. Let’s up the stress level and consider the enormous task of moving an entire police headquarters.

Obviously, Barrie Police have this well thought out and the phased move from the current digs on Sperling Drive to the new headquarters at 110 Fairview Road, near Little Avenue, will begin on Saturday, March 7.

During the switch, there will be no disruption to 911 service or front-line policing.

As of March 14, all police-related services offered on Sperling Drive will be offered at the new Fairview Road headquarters, including:

  • Collision Reporting Centre
  • Records and Information Management Services
  • Property and Evidence Unit
  • Barrie and Area Victim Crisis Assistance and Referral Service
  • Walk-in inquiries

From March 7 to 14, some services may be available at 110 Fairview, while others will still be accessible at 29 Sperling. Updates as to what services are located where will be provided on the Barrie Police website and social media platforms. If you need more information, police ask that you call 705-725-7025.
