Nottawasaga OPP responded to a fatal single-vehicle collision in the Town of New Tecumseth Friday evening.
Around 9:20 p.m., police, along with other emergency services, responded to the scene on Sideroad 17 between the Second and Third Line.
Officials say the lone occupant, a 45-year-old Georgetown male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours for the investigation but has since been re-opened.
