New Tecumseth man facing list of charges after OPP were called about a possible impaired driver Tuesday evening
Driver accused of assaulting an officer and littering, among others
The OPP have handed a list of charges to a New Tecumseth man after a complaint about a possible impaired driver.
Nottawasaga OPP were contacted shortly before 6:30 Tuesday evening, by someone concerned a motorist was drinking and driving in the area of Highway 27 and 20th Sideroad in Essa.
Police tracked down the suspect vehicle and have since charged a 38-year-old man. He will answer to charges of damaging a highway with an improper tire, littering, uttering threats, assaulting an officer, and impaired operation at a future court date.
