A multi-vehicle crash near Thornton shut down a roadway for a time, while fire crews worked to get a man out of a heavily damaged vehicle.
The OPP got the call to a three vehicle crash on County Road 21 around 4:30 Monday afternoon, just east of Thornton, adding two of the vehicles involved collided head-on.
The driver of one of the vehicles had to be extricated from his sedan due to the extensive damage done to his vehicle. Complaints of leg and neck pain were assessed by Georgian Ambulance members, while the other four people involved, two adults, two children, were also given a once-over before getting the all clear.
No charges have been laid, while the OPP point out the investigation is ongoing.
