No winning ticket for $70 million Lotto Max jackpot, as history-making draw set for Tuesday

Eight Maxmillion prizes were won

Better luck next time.

Once again, no winning ticket was sold for the massive $70 million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw.

There were eight Maxmillion prize winners out of the 33 Maxmillion prizes of $1 million each.

Four of the prizes went to lottery players in Ontario. None was from Barrie, Orillia or Simcoe-Muskoka.

The next Lotto Max draw on June 8 will again be an estimated $70 million, but the number of Maxmillion prizes will jump to 47.

Lottery officials said this will be the first time in Lotto Max history a record $117 million in top prizing is available to be won in a single draw.
