Cops have collared a suspect after a slew of break-and-enters under Nottawasaga OPP detachment’s watch.
The detachment’s Community Street Crime Unit says an investigation into a series of thefts from the region led officers to execute a search warrant at an Innisfil home on Tuesday, June 30. The OPP says it had backup from South Simcoe Police members.
During the search, police say various stolen items were recovered, including lottery cards and over $9,000 in Canadian currency. A 48-year-old Innisfil man was also taken into custody during the search warrant.
The suspect is facing charges including break-and-enter, possession of stolen goods, and failure to comply with a probation order.
