OHL requiring spectators to provide vaccine proof, including at Barrie’s Sadlon Arena

Kids under age 12 must be accompanied by a fully vaxxed adult

The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) will be among those requiring proof of vaccination before you’re allowed in.

Following recently announced health protocols by the Government of Ontario, the OHL says it will require proof upon entry into any of its 17 facilities as of September 22. This includes the Sadlon Arena in Barrie, home of the Barrie Colts.

This vaccination policy covers all spectators and other attendees at all OHL events, including games and practices. Children under the age of 12 will be required to be accompanied and supervised by a fully-vaccinated adult.

The OHL preseason schedule continues this Thursday, with Opening Night of the 2021-2022 regular season to take place October 7.
