Traffic on Highway 400 southbound was gummed up by a closure on Tuesday morning following a collision involving three vehicles at Dunlop Street.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the driver of a car was hit from behind as the vehicle was slowing in traffic.
According to police, the lone occupant of the car was transported to the hospital in Barrie with non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, there is no word on charges.
The southbound lanes reopened shortly before noon.
