Nearly four months after a deadly crash on Highway 12 at Stagecoach Road near Moonstone in Oro-Medonte, provincial police have laid charges against a 51-year-old man from Sudbury.
66-year-old Irene Youngblut of Tay Township was killed in the two-vehicle head-on collision that happened on April 7, 2022.
The charges are:
- Impaired Driving Causing Death
- Dangerous Driving Causing Death
- Drive a Motor Vehicle with Cannabis Readily Available
The accused was held in custody with a court appearance scheduled for Thursday.
