OPP cruiser struck from behind as officer was investigating an earlier collision
The driver was tagged with a slew of charges
No injuries when a vehicle struck a parked OPP cruiser on Simcoe County 6 between Concession Roads 6 and 8 in Tiny Township.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP say this happened shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday as an officer was investigating an earlier collision.
The 33-year-old male driver from Midland was charged with careless driving, driving a motor vehicle while suspended, failing to register plates, driving without insurance, and two counts each of using unauthorized plates.
The passenger, a 33-year-old Midland man, was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
The vehicle was towed and was impounded for 45 days.
