OPP investigate after dog was shot in Port McNicoll

Provincial police are investigating after a dog was found with a gunshot wound.

Officers responded to reports Tuesday morning of a person shooting at a dog on Patterson Road in Port McNicoll and driving away.

The dog was not seriously injured.

Police believe this was an isolated incident.

Anyone with information, including video recordings, is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
