OPP investigation removes fentanyl from North Simcoe communities

Ontario Provincial Police have removed a quantity of suspected fentanyl after arresting two individuals on Wednesday.

Police say as part of an ongoing investigation, officers conducted a traffic stop on County Road 93 in Springwater Township and this resulted in the seizure of the opioids.

The individuals arrested were a 22-year-old and a 20-year-old, both from the Toronto area.

Both are facing drug-related charges.
