OPP identify man who died in a boat fire in Orillia
The body was discovered after the fire was extinguished
OPP in Orillia have identified the body of a man discovered in a boat that caught fire at a business on Royce Avenue, in the area of Queen and West Streets.
First responders were called to the business around 6 a.m. Thursday with reports a boat was on fire. The body was located once the fire was extinguished.
The person has been identified as 37 year John Wayne Reed of Orillia.
A post mortem will be done.
The Orillia OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
