
Two people were given multiple drug and possession-related charges after a residence was searched and a significant amount of drugs and paraphernalia was seized.
Wednesday, officers from the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) from the Southern Georgian Bay detachment executed a search warrant at an apartment on Hugel Avenue.
Two arrests were made at the scene. One of a 40 year-old man from Midland, the other a 35-year-old woman from Midland.
The man was given 12 charges, while the woman five charges, all related to drug and weapon possession and trafficking.

- Victor eight-shot pistol
- Drug paraphernalia
- Stihl concrete construction saw
- Two hunting bows
- Canadian currency
The man accused remains in custody awaiting to a bail hearing. He will appear before a criminal court at a future date.
The woman was released at the scene and will appear in court at a future date.
Wednesday's arrests are a part of an ongoing investigation.
