The search for a missing man in Awenda Provincial Park ended after the British Columbia resident was located by the OPP Aviation Unit shortly after 4 p.m. on Friday on a property close to the park.
OPP say the individual was transported to an area hospital by County of Simcoe paramedics for examination and treatment of any injuries he may have sustained in Friday's weather.

A search is underway for a missing man who was last seen around 8:30 Friday morning leaving his campsite with his dog in Awenda Provincial Park north of Penetanguishene.
OPP say the dog was later located safe in the park.
66-year-old David Hilworth is from British Columbia. He is 6'1"/180 pounds, has reading glasses, and was wearing grey/white checkered shorts, a plain orange coloured t-shirt, a Green Bay Packers ballcap, and black croc footwear.
Investigators from Southern Georgian Bay OPP along with members from the OPP Central Region Emergency Response Unit (ERT) and Canine Unit along with Parks staff are assisting in the search for Hilworth in the park grounds.
