Officers from the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a shoplift involving two suspects and are requesting the public's assistance to identify the individuals involved.
On July 25, 2025, Nottawasaga OPP responded to a shoplift incident at a LCBO location on Queen Street in Tottenham.
Video evidence obtained shows two males enter the store taking $2,000 in alcohol with no attempt to pay. A vehicle described as a 2010 Kia Forte with an Alberta licence plate—CTP 8299—was observed fleeing the scene with the males entering the passenger side and back seat with the bags of merchandise. The vehicle was last seen travelling southbound on Highway 50 but not located by police.
