OPP search for suspects in Orillia assault

Police are seeking the public's help after a person was assaulted by two males in Orillia.

At around 4:15 Friday morning, Ontario Provincial Police say they received a report of a disturbance in the area of West Street North and Calverly Street. Investigators say two men approached another male and for whatever reason assaulted him.

Both suspects fled on a foot when someone came to aid the victim.

The suspects are described as 6'1, with thin builds and they were wearing dark hoodies.

Police are requesting anyone with any information about this investigation, to contact Orillia OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
