Provincial police have laid charges after a warrant was carried out at an address near Walker Avenue and Barrie Road in Orillia as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Two people were taken into custody during the raid on Tuesday afternoon.
A 20-year-old Scarborough man and a 42-year-old Orillia woman were charged with possession of cocaine for trafficking, possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police say they seized 90 grams of cocaine, $18,000 in Canadian cash, an air pistol, two cell phones, a money counter, and other drug equipment.
Both suspects were held for a bail hearing on Wednesday.
