Orillia OPP charged a woman Tuesday after she was found slumped over in a vehicle and later found to be impaired and in possession of multiple drugs.
At 5:30 p.m., officers were sent to the scene at a business on Monarch Drive where a suspicious vehicle was noticed with the engine on and driver slumped over.
An off-duty officer initially assisted with turning the car off and removing the woman until more uniformed officers made it on-scene.

Other officers arrived and entered into an impaired driving investigation, eventually arresting and bringing the accused to the detachment.
There, the 39-year-old woman from Orillia was further tested by drug recognition expert and handed eight charges. Among the charges were two for possession of a Schedule I substance and failure to notify about a name change.
She was released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date. Additionally, their driver's licence has been suspended for 90 days, and vehicle impounded for 7 days.
