Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Alliston airlifted to Toronto trauma centre

Teen driver charged

A pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Alliston on Saturday night was transported to a local hospital then airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Nottawasaga OPP say the collision happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Victoria Street in the area of Church Street.

The 17-year-old driver from New Tecumseth was charged with careless driving causing bodily harm.
