Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Bradford on Monday is in critical condition

The pedestrian was struck while trying to cross the road

South Simcoe Police is seeking witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian that left a 64-year-old Bradford man in critical condition.

This happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, June 15 at the intersection of Holland Street and Barrie Street in Bradford.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the road when he was struck by a vehicle making a left-hand turn. He was taken to a local hospital and then transported to a Toronto trauma centre where he is listed in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene.
