Barrie police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Wednesday morning.
The collision happened on Dunlop Street West at around 5:30 a.m. Dunlop is closed between Tiffin Street and County Road 27 for the investigation.
According to a police news release, the male was struck by a vehicle and subsequently was pronounced dead.
The vehicle remained at the scene, police confirmed.
Police have not released the age of the male who was killed.
