Cocaine,weapons seized during police search warrant in Midland
A person suffered serious injuries after being stabbed at a Barrie Road residence in Orillia.
OPP say they were called to the residence around 3:30 Friday morning where they located an injured person, who was then taken to a local hospital.
Police say their investigation has revealed the suspect or suspects assaulted the victim while they were outside their residence and that the assault continued inside the residence.
The OPP considers this to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
Police added that the investigation is ongoing.
