Pet of the Month: October Edition

Cuties incoming!

This Barrie 360 feature has been brought to you by Pet Valu – Yonge StWellingtonInnisfil.

Thank you to everyone who sent in photos of your adorable furry friends! Here is this month’s winner, as well as the runner-ups:

October 2020 Pet of the Month:

Boomer might be the cutest puppy we’ve ever seen! A 16-week-old Newfie/Great Pyrenees mix who took a while to learn to walk but likes to spend most days off its feet anyway…this little guy loves to snooze!

September 2020 Pet of the Month Runner-Ups:

Shadow is a 5-year-old cat who loves toys, treats, and keeping an eye on the kids to make sure they stay out of trouble. She’s also a cat with a job: catching mice!

Truly a gentle giant, Cooper is 100 pounds of unconditional love. You would think being such a big dog he would chew the sticks to match, but for some reason, he has a fascination with toothpick-sized sticks. He’s cute though, so he can do whatever he wants.

Not many dogs have a hidden talent but Joey the 8-year-old Golden Retriever has one. Spend more than 15 minutes away from him and he will begin to sing his heart out (until you come back and pet him some more).

An energetic Beagle mix, Toby’s owners think he might be part cat because of how much he likes to sleep on the top of the couch. He also spends most of his time in the annex or annoying Michael Scott.

Kramer is a Husky/Collie/Lab mix who loves the fact that his mom now works from home. I mean, how could you get any work done with that face looking up at you.

Best friend to her 4-year-old, Boots loves to swim and go for walks. Even though she’s 7-years-old, she’s still scared of lightning and fireworks (and oddly enough, the dishwasher)!

The newest member of their family, Spike was found tied to a tree and abandoned. Luckily, he is loved, happier than ever, and sporting the coolest hairdo ever.

Luigi is a Maine Coon mix who looks just as cute at 10 as he did at 1. Besides being handsome, he is also full of love, likes to cuddle, and will purr non-stop when you pet him.

A rescue from Street Cats, Cassie loves to annoy her older sister and always wants to play. When she isn’t doing that (or taking a nap) she is quick to take away her owner’s ability to work.
