We've heard of a gender reveal cake, so how about a weather reveal cake?
PETA is pitching replacing the groundhog "Punxsutawney Phil" with the sugar confection.
The people at PETA have tried to get the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club to replace the rodent for years.
They say if Phil permanently retires to a "reputable animal sanctuary", they'll provide a giant vegan cake every year for the reveal.
If the cake is blue, expect six more weeks of winter; if it's pink, an early spring.
Last year PETA suggested a coin toss to replace Phil.
Groundhog Day is February 2.

We can keep the tradition alive—without exploiting animals—with a playful take on gender reveal cakes! If the cake is blue, expect six more weeks of winter; if it’s pink, an early spring.
