Pizza delivery worker assaulted; car stolen in Gravenhurst

A pizza delivery driver suffered minor injuries when according to provincial police his delivery car was stolen in Gravenhurst.

Around 11 on Thursday night, police say the driver arrived at an apartment building at 165 Old Muskoka Road to deliver a pizza when two suspects with an edged weapon assaulted him and stole his vehicle. The victim was able to flee to a nearby residence and call for help.

The vehicle is a black 2009 Mazda four-door car with Ontario licence plate CWPB246 and had a Dominos Pizza sign attached to the top. The car was last seen travelling toward Bethune Drive. Both suspects wore dark hoodies.

Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance footage from their residences or other information to please call Bracebridge OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display, and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.
