Barrie police have released a picture of a four-door Mercedes Benz believe to have been the getaway car of two suspects who robbed a credit union on Nov. 9
Police said two males armed with guns burst into the Ontario Educational Credit Union on Alliance Boulevard and demanded cash. They fled with a significant amount of Canadian currency.
While their faces were covered, police said the suspects are both believed to be in their 20s and spoke with what has been described as a Jamaican accent.
The first suspect is described as being just under 6’ in height, with a slim build and was wearing a dark top and gray colored track pants. The second suspect was shorter than suspect number one, and also had a slim build and wore dark clothing that included black track pants.
According to police, the Mercedes was last seen travelling on Bell Farm Road towards Duckworth Street after the robbery.
Anyone who recognizes the car is asked to contact police at 705-725-7025
