South Simcoe Police (SSP) used the month of June to crackdown on illegal windshield tinting.
The fine for such an infraction is $110.
During the campaign, police handed out 50 tickets.
Under the Highway Traffic Act, it's illegal to tint or coat your front windshield in a way that blocks your view.
Police say it poses a significant safety risk by reducing a driver's visibility, especially at night.
