Police investigate shooting in Bradford

Police received reports that two vehicles drove into each other and shots were fired

South Simcoe Police officers converged on the area of Langford Boulevard and Line 8 around 6:15 on Wednesday evening for reports of two vehicles driving into each other and shots being fired. One of the vehicles lost control and crashed into a building on Dissette Street. Three males fled on foot and were located nearby by police. The second vehicle fled the scene. No injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing to determine a motive, locate the second vehicle and identify its occupants.

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and security camera/dash camera footage of the incident. Anyone who can assist police is asked to contact Det. Irwin at ben.irwin@southsimcoepolice.ca.
