Police on the hunt for third suspect after charging two men in connection to violent home invasion in Collingwood

Police seeking info on Honda Civic connected to case

Two people have been arrested in connection to a home invasion in Collingwood, a third is on the lam.

Shortly before 10 p.m. December 19, police say three men forced their way into a Fair Street home and assaulted the resident living there. The resident had his hands and feet bound as he was threatened with what appeared to be a firearm. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The victim suffered only minor injuries and was able to get to a neighbour to call police. Officers arrived and found two men in a vehicle nearby. A 20-year-old Scarborough man and 43-year-old from Collingwood are facing charges of weapon possession, break and enter, armed robbery, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and more.

Police continue the hunt for the third man and are asking for information on a Honda Civic pictured above.
