Police seeking beige or gold SUV after Innisfil hit and run

Vehicle accused of running stop sign Wednesday afternoon

South Simcoe Police are hoping for witnesses after a hit and run in Innisfil.

Officers were called out to a two-vehicle crash on St. Johns Rd. and Clifton Blvd. around 8:45 Wednesday morning with reports an SUV had run a stop sign, struck another vehicle, and fled the scene.

There were two others in the vehicle that had been struck, both refused medical treatment on scene according to police.

The suspect vehicle is described as a gold or beige SUV, possibly a Honda Pilot, last seen southbound on St. Johns Road with two people inside. The suspect vehicle should have severe damage to the passenger side.
