Police appeal for witnesses after impaired and stunt driving arrest in Bradford

South Simcoe police are appealing for witnesses following an impaired and stunt driving arrest in Bradford.

On Sunday at 9:10 p.m., an officer on routine patrol observed a vehicle travelling 151 km/hr, in an 80 km/hr zone, southbound on Yonge Street in the area of Line 12. 

A 33-year-old Innisfil man was charged with impaired driving, stunt driving, speeding, having cannabis readily available, and failing to surrender a permit for a vehicle.

His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.

The South Simcoe Police Service is appealing to drivers who were in the area of Yonge Street and Line 12 at 9:10 p.m. Sunday evening and witnessed the suspect vehicle, to contact Constable Capeloa at 705-436-2141, extension #2032, tiago.capeloa@southsimcoepolice.ca or contact Crime Stoppers.
