As if the pressure to be healthy isn't enough, now there is a perfect score for how you should poop.
Dubbed the "Goldilocks" zone, research says you should be heading to the bathroom at least twice a day to keep things in tip-top shape.
According to the Institute for Systems Biology report, 1,400 healthy adults were studied regarding their bowel movement habits.
Participants were separated into four groups:
1: constipation (one or two bowel movements per week).
2: low-normal (between three and six bowel movements per week).
3: high-normal (between one and three bowel movements per day).
4: Diarrhea.
A fibre-rich diet, physical movement, and good hydration are the key factors in achieving this twice a day "Sweet Spot."

In contrast, researchers also found that younger people, women, and those with a lower BMI tended to have less frequent bowel movements.
The difference is a type of fermentation in the gut.
Fiber-fermenting bacteria was linked to the "Goldilocks" zone, while bacteria associated with protein fermentation were tied to constipation.
