Midland woman charged in poppy donation box theft

OPP upgrade charges after driver dies of injuries in Highway 12 crash near Gambridge

An arrest has been made in connection with theft of a Midland Legion poppy donation box.

OPP say it was swiped from the Pita Pit restaurant on King Street Nov. 6.

A 34-year-old Midland woman has been charged with theft under $5,000.

According to police, community support and investigation led to the arrest of a suspect.
