A pug puppy was swiped from an Alliston home after two people attended a residence to inquire about purchasing the animal.
OPP say two men went to the residence in the area of Treetops Boulevard around 5 p.m. on Tuesday. When they got the chance, investigators say they grabbed the pup and fled.
One man was located a short distance away.
A 24-year-old from Brampton was charged with theft under $5,000 and breach of recognizance.
A second man is still outstanding. He was described as wearing all black and of East Indian descent.
