However, it seems we have had too much of a good thing when it comes to pumpkin spice.
A recent poll, done way before we should be thinking about autumn, asked people what their preferred fall flavour is, and pumpkin spice came in fourth place.
This knocks the king of the orange season down considerably.
According to the study, good old-fashioned cinnamon is the best, followed by salted caramel and candy apple.
Only 32 percent of people questioned said pumpkin spice was their favourite, bringing it to fourth place.
So why the drop? Could it be overexposure?
Fifty-two percent of millennials say they are tired of pumpkin spice, and another 60 percent agree that there are better flavours.
Here are the results:
1:Cinnamon - 39%
2:Salted caramel - 37%
3:Apple/candy apple - 36%
4:Pumpkin spice - 32%
5:Maple - 28%
6:S’mores - 28%
7:Pecan - 26%
8:Toasted marshmallow - 24%
9:Sweet potato - 20%
10:Cranberry - 19%
