Purple Heroin Seized In Collingwood Bust

Three Charged With Trafficking Distinctly-Coloured Drug

A trio has been charged with trafficking and more, after an investigation into the dealing of purple heroin in Collingwood.

The OPP were tipped off about drug dealing in town and began an investigation in February. Investigators zeroed in on three individuals who now face a future court date.

A 24-year-old man from Brampton, along with a 55-year-old man and 57-year-old woman, both from Collingwood, face a combined seven trafficking related charges.

Officers claim to have seized 8 grams of purple heroin, a fentanyl-laced version of heroin with a purplish tint to it.
