Rainbow flags going up all this week to celebrate Simcoe Pride
No events planned for Simcoe Pride, due to changes with organization's board of directors
Rainbow flags are being raised across the region as locals mark Simcoe Pride.
The pride flag was raised at the County of Simcoe office to kick off the two-week recognition of all things LGBTQ2+, with more flag raisings expected across Simcoe County in the coming days.
Today we held a physically distanced #Pride flag raising to celebrate @SimcoePride 10th annual Pride celebration! 🌈

In an email to Barrie 360, Simcoe Pride President Colin Nelthorpe said only pride flag raisings are planned for this season, owing to a change in the organization’s board of directors. He says once the new board is settled in, planning on events for the remainder of the year will take place.
