They will have to find a new voice for Rick and Morty.

Adult Swim, the network that runs the show, has severed ties with the adult cartoons co-creator Justin Roiland.

Roiland departure stems from domestic assault allegations filed against him.

He also served as the show's executive producer and voiced both Rick and Morty.

Rick and Morty is one of the channel's most popular show's and Roiland's absence comes a short while into a 70-episode order for the show.

Reports say the cartoon will continue as they look to recast the roles.

Meanwhile, its other co-creator, Dan Harmon will be the lone showrunner.

Earlier this month, Roiland was charged with one count of domestic battery with corporal injury and one count of false imprisonment by menace, violence, fraud or deceit.

Roiland has pled not guilty and is expected to return to court in April.
