Ripple of Kindness Barrie makes $26,000 donation to breast imaging at Royal Victoria Hospital

Ripple of Kindness was founded in 2016 by Barbara White and Mary-Anne Frith

Ripple of Kindness Barrie is continuing their mission of giving back to our community, in a big way.

On Thursday night Ripple of Kindness – a group made up of 260 women – made a donation in support of breast imaging at Royal Victoria Hospital. The group presented a cheque for $26,000 to Rebecca Truax, Director of Philanthropy and Heather Gillis, Operations Director, Medical Imaging + Laboratory Medicine at RVH.

Barbara White and Mary-Anne Frith founded Ripple of Kindness in 2016. They started the group to fill the need they saw in the community for kindness, and giving back. The Barrie chapter has raised over $400,000 to date, which has been donated to 14 different charities including Gilda’s Club Cancer Support Community, Hospice Simcoe, OSPCA and the Barrie Food Bank.

Ripple of Kindness has no limits on membership, if you’re interested in joining the group you can find out more at rippleofkindness.ca
