Would signal the start of a gradual reopening of the province
Reports out of Toronto suggest Premier Ford will announce today a gradual reopening of the province over the next three months.
The Globe and Mail quotes sources saying some outdoor activities – golf and tennis among them – will be allowed this weekend, along with outdoor gatherings with up to five people.
Large gatherings and use of restaurant patios are not expected to get the go-ahead until later in June.
The provincial cabinet is expected to meet today to finalize the reopening plan, which is rumoured to not include the colour-coded pandemic we’ve seen before.
