COVID-19 testing begins today (Nov. 25) at the Rizzardo Health & Wellness Centre in Innisfil.
Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) has partnered with the Town of Innisfil and will operate the clinic on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4 – 8 p.m. using RVH’s current space within the building.
“Simcoe Muskoka has now moved to the Orange – Restrict zone, and given the high number of COVID patients who don’t exhibit any symptoms, it’s important that people have easy access swab testing,” says Janice Skot, RVH president and CEO. “RVH’s Testing Clinic in Barrie currently tests more than 400 patients each day and demand continues to grow. This new clinic in Innisfil will provide important access for residents in south Simcoe County.”
Appointments need to be pre-booked. Patients arriving at the Innisfil COVID-19 Testing Clinic will be directed to a dedicated entrance near the RVH Health and Wellness Clinics. Patients should bring their health card and driver’s license to make registration easier.
Appointments at both the Barrie COVID-19 Testing Clinic at 29 Sperling Drive and the Innisfil COVID-19 Testing Clinic can be booked online on the RVH website.
