Santa Claus Parades In Our Region

Saturday November 16

Barrie – 5 pm –  The parade will depart from Tiffin and Lakeshore, heading straight up Tiffin to Bradford Street, the north on Bradford to Dunlop, and through Downtown Barrie, to be followed by the Downtown Barrie Tree Lighting festivities

Newmarket – 11 am – starts at the corner of Eagle Street and Lorne Avenue, proceeds East on Eagle Street to Main Street, continues North on Main Street to finish at Ontario Street

Bala – 1 pm – Parade starts at The Kee to Bala on Bala Falls Road and runs along Hwy 169 through Bala to Burgess Street and then turns on to Victoria to end at the Bala Community Centre

Keswick – 1:30 pm – NEW ROUTE: Starts at Woodbine Ave. at Dovedale Dr., heads north and ends on Woodbine Ave. at Wexford

Collingwood – 5 pm – north Along Hurontario Street, from Hume to First Street followed by the tree lighting and fireworks at the federal building

Alliston – 6 pm – Victoria St, King St., Young St., Industrial Pkwy.

Bradford – 6:30 pm – Parade begins at Bradford High School and travels east on Holland Street, finishing at the Bradford & District Memorial Community Centre

Port Carling – 6:30 pm – downtown from Ferndale Road to Bailey Street

Sunday November 17

Toronto – 12:30 pm – NEW ROUTE: starts at Bloor and Parliament, along Bloor to Avenue Road, south on University to Wellington, Wellington to Yonge, Yonge to Front, Front back to Wellington

Orillia – 1 pm – Centennial Drive to Front to Colborne to Dunlop Street to Mississaga & return to Centennial

Friday November 22

Haliburton – 6:30 pm – Highland Street

Saturday November 23

Angus – 10 am – starts at Peacekeepers Park and travel along Mill Street to the Angus Recreation Centre, where refreshments will be provided at no cost along with a visit with Santa.

Gravenhurst – 11 am – along Muskoka Road South

Minden – 11:30 am – starts at the Curling Club parking lot, travel along Parkside Street to Bobcaygeon Road, then through the town of Minden and ending at the township office parking lot on Milne Street

Wasaga Beach – 5 pm – from 22nd St and Mosley St. to RecPlex, 1724 Mosley St

Aurora – 6 pm – the parade will travel along Yonge Street from Orchard Heights Boulevard to Murray Drive.

Sunday November 24

Innisfil – 1:30 pm – from the 25th Sideroad and ending at Jans Blvd

Waubaushene – 1 pm – along Pine St. between Hazel St. and Fallowfield Lane

Friday November 29

Huntsville – 7 pm – along Main Street and King William Street from Lorne Street to the Huntsville Place Mall

Saturday November 30

Midland/Penetanguishene – 11 am – along King Street, from Little Lake Park Road down to Bayshore Drive

Tottenham – 3 pm – along Main Street

Cookstown – 6 pm – Tree Lighting; 6:30 pm Parade

Parry Sound – 4:30 pm – begins at the corner of Gibson Street and Isabella Street, follows Church, Rosetta and James to Bay Street

Wyevale – 7 pm – starts at the Fire Department and makes its way to the United Church

Sunday December 1

Bracebridge – 1 pm – along Manitoba Street from McDonald Street to Ontario Street

Elmvale – 1 pm – from Huronia Centennial Elementary School to the Elmvale Arena

Honey Harbour – 1 pm

Friday December 6

Penetanguishene – 4:30pm – Tree Lighting (Town Dock) and Festival of Lights (Centennial Museum and Archives)

Saturday December 7

Stayner – 10:30 am – starts at the Station Park, then travels west on Highway 26 until Stayner St., then to Regina St. and finishes at the Stayner Community Centre

Creemore – 1:30 pm – travels along Mill Street, Edward Street and Mary Street

Schomberg – 4 pm – Main Street

Coldwater – 5:30 pm – begins with the Candle Light walk down Main Street to the Mill and then is followed by the parade

Sutton – 5 pm – starts in Jackson’s Point, travels down Dalton Rd. to High St. along High St. and ends at the fairgrounds

Meaford – 7 pm – Sykes Street will become a pedestrian mall while local businesses showcase the unveiling of their new holiday window displays. Bring the whole family out to see the displays, watch the parade, light the town tree, and enjoy a visit from Santa.

Sunday December 8

Anten Mills – 1 pm

Baysville – 1 pm – along Bridge Street
