Business Insider reports that wedding costs have increased by nearly 13% this year.

Many couples choose to have destination weddings, which adds massive costs to the event.

It's not just about money, but about time.

The time commitment is huge.

Between bridal showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsals, and the actual wedding, the time adds.

One TikToker, Stephanie Greenstreet, made a video explaining that it's okay to say no to being in a wedding party.

She also encourages brides to help their wedding party by giving them an idea of the financial commitment.
