Second Base Borden Soldier Facing Sexual Assault Charges

Second Time Military Police Have Laid Charges at Borden in Less Than a Month

For the second time in less than a month, a solider at Base Borden faces sexual assault charges.

The Canadian Forces National Investigation Services has charged a Lieutenant-Colonel with two Sexual Assault-related charges, in response to allegations made in June. The soldier is a Reserve Force member with the Canadian Force Recruiting Group and is based at CFB Borden. The charges came following an investigation that revealed two separate and unrelated incidences involving the suspect.
