The County is advising the community of Oro Station that there will be a staged emergency exercise on June 17, 2025. This exercise will help area emergency personnel and Emergency Information Officers learn and practice what to do in the event of an actual emergency and test the coordination of emergency services on scene in the context of a large special event impacted by severe weather.

During this time, the community may see additional emergency vehicles and personnel present through this planned training event. Media and the public are asked to refrain from engaging with personnel while they participate in this training exercise.
