Six Suspects, Two Drug Stores, Three Days

Police Investigating Separate Thefts at Similar Stores

Seems like Shoppers’ Drug Mart is the target of choice.

Barrie Police are investigating two separate incidences at area Shoppers’ stores, all within days of each other.

Investigators say four women spent two days, October 2nd and 3rd, in drug stores on Mapleview and Essa, distracting the employees and making off with thousands in merchandise.

The suspects are described as:

  1. Four Suspects Distracting and Dashing Local at Shoppers Drug MartsFemale, black, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a grey jacket, white t-shirt, black track pants and  black and white sandals
  2. Female, black, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a black hat, grey hoodie, grey tank top and grey pants & carrying a large beige bag
  3. Female, black, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a black hat, black jacket, white t-shirt, grey track pants, black shoes & carrying a black bag
  4. Female, black, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, wearing a black Adidas track Jacket with white stripes, grey track pants, black shoes & carrying a black purse

Following that, on October 5th, two men are accused of going into Shoppers’ Drug Mart at Essa Road and Veterans Drive and making off with a plethora of razor blades.

  • Wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and a camouflage hat

Suspect #2

  • Male, black (25-35 yrs)
  • Medium build
  • Black beard
  • Wearing grey sweater with a black vest, and a white baseball cap
